Peter's impressed mark and the date 94 are on the side of the vessel.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #5e5e5e; font-family: Lato, arial, sans-serif;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #5e5e5e; font-family: Lato, arial, sans-serif;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePeter Clough trained as a potter and sculptor in the South of England, before moving North in 1966. From 1972 to 1984 he made mainly domestic stoneware in the Leach style at Nantwich in Cheshire. In 1985 he moved to Harrogate in North Yorkshire, and from 1987 he made the experimental work referred to above.
